Nick Cannon has been suspended from hosting The Masked Singer Season 5 after testing positive for COVID-19. The news was confirmed on February 4th by producers to several news agencies. The means Nick will not be hosting the first few episodes of Season 5 which are being taped now. In the meantime, former Guest Judge Niecy Nash will be stepping in as Host.

Nick Cannon has been the host of The Mask Singer since Season 1 and has hosted every episode since. Nick is currently in quarantine and resting. There’s no news that his case has become severe. Producers expect Nick to return to host the second half of Season 5 in a few weeks, after receiving an all-clear from doctors.

The Masked Singer Season 5 is scheduled to begin airing in March.

Please have the women wear appropriate attire. This is on in prime time and their “boobs” are sick. This show is loosing viewers due to that since it is on in prime time and am sick of the false crying from the women judges. Do they even really hear the performances?
