“A special set of cheeseburgers. my game forever.”?
“Welcome to Lover’s Lagoon, where soon I’ll croon and make you swoon. Becoming the Crocodile was a natural selection because I’m the happiest in water. And ever since I was a kid, growing up in Hollywood, surrounded by heartache and instability, I was forced to develop a thick skin. But see, crocodiles get a bad rep for being cold-blooded, when actually, inside, I’m a warm, sensitive creature who just wants to be loved back. And I can’t wait to share my hidden talent, as I make a wicked big splash.”Nick Carter
“Becoming the Crocodile has really revived my love for performing, something I haven’t felt this passionately about since I was a kid. When I was young, I was just a poor nobody with a dream. I remember standing in my backyard performing to each weed and rose petal. But, my own father didn’t believe in my talent. When I finally got my first paycheck for a hundred bucks, I handed it straight to him. “Look, Pa! I made it!” He was so proud, he cried actual crocodile tears, and believed in me. A few years later, shazam! My field of dreams became a field of reality. Tonight, I’m putting the toxic parts of my past behind me, and delivering nothing but love on this stage.”Swizz Beatz
“This competition means everything to me. Even I’m surprised at how much blood, sweat and tears I’ve put into each performance. But I’ve always tried to be the hardest working person in the room. Just asked one of my closest friends who’s croco-dialed into my mindset.”
(Interviewer to the Stars): “I’ve worked with some of the biggest names in the biz, but Croc is my ride or die. We’ve been all around the world together. Once we traveled the six continents in a hundred hours. And despite his hard exterior, he’s a total softie who puts his heart 100% into everything he does, even if it’s just playing video games. He’ll battle with me all night because he’ll relentlessly go step by step to get the high score. Whether it’s video games or The Masked Singer, when it comes to competing, this guy’s got a one-track mind. So Croc, you do you, baby! Tonight, show these guys a side of yourself they’ve never seen before.”
Nick Carter
“Competing as the Crocodile has made me feel more alive than I have in a long time. These pink jaws give me the freedom to finally do all the different genres of music–from crock and roll—to iconic Britney–to a heartfelt ballad. And tonight, I picked a song thats deeply personal to me because I’m not just doing this for myself but for my croclings, my kids, my everything. I love them so much I literally drive eight hours to see them after every show because I don’t want to miss a thing, and the the only thing that matters to me now is them having a life that I didn’t have as a child. I’ve heard Seahorse sing, and I know she has the voice. But nobody has more heart than me. I’m goning to leave it all out on that stage for you. Now here’s a superclue for you to sink your teeth into. Paisanos, this clue is bellissima.”Nick Carter
“Going up against Seahorse in the super six, I thought for sure I was going home. So I feel so blessed to be here in the finale. This journey has meant so much to me because I’ve gotten the freedom to completely express the real me that, for so much of my life, has been hidden. Tonight, I picked a song that’s deeply personal to me. Growing up my family was dirt poor. so I mowed lawn after lawn just to afford my first album, “Frontiers” by Journey. Tonight, I’m singing a song from that same band, channeling that tiny crocling that loved to sing more than anything. Hopefully, its enough to win that golden mask.Nick Carter
